The library collection consists of about 150,000 volumes. These can be accessed through our catalogue.

Our electronic material is searchable through the catalogue. There’s also a A-Z list available of all the electronic material. The largest collection is ATLA Religion Database with ATLASerials, an online full-text collection of major religion and theology journals, on the platform of EBSCOhost. Other useful bibliographic databases are Index religiosus and Index Theologicus.

Special research collections

S. Greijdanus room: Here are to be found reference works and literature  regarding Semitics and Judaïca/Judaism.

R.J. Dam room: Here are to be found reference works and literature regarding the text and background of the New Testament and regarding Patristics.

Prof. D. Deddens Center for Church Polity: Here is to be found the most important literature (such as handbooks, church orders, church minutes, and commentaries) regarding Church Polity. Besides this, a large collection has been gathered here of material about the history of the church in Anglo-Saxon world in general and about Presbyterianism and other nonconformist movements in particular.
