Board and organization

Mission and Vision

The mission of Utrecht Theological University is to study the Bible and the reality of God in order to form new generations for their service in church and society. We do this in line with the Reformed tradition, which we continually reexamine, update and connect to the world of today and tomorrow, in which Christ is in the process of coming. We work on our mission from a deep sense of dependence on God. Our academic community is committed, inspiring and trustworthy. These three words represent our faithful engagement, our relationship to God, his world and each other, and the quality of our work. Together, they form our vision. Philosophical universities

Utrecht Theological University is part of the consultation of philosophical universities in the Netherlands. The other members are the UvH, the PthU and the TUA.
