Research Research Institutes

The research of Utrecht Theological University focuses primarily on the content, meaning and articulation of Reformed theology and its significance for church, science, politics and society today. Working from the Reformed perspective, the TUU aims to preserve, continue, and expand on the Christian intellectual tradition. The research is multidisciplinary in scope and seeks to connect with the humanities and social sciences. On this page you can read how the organization of the research institutes is designed.

The research for the period 2024-2029 has one main program: Vulnerablity and Hope and will be led by Hans Schaeffer from 2024.
